BOOKINGS
Please note that all reservations are always subject to availability at
the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is only an estimate of
the price, which will be effective only upon the issuing of a written
advice on confirmation of the reservation. All bookings are subject
to the terms, conditions and limitations as detailed in the Hire Agreement.
Bookings are accepted subject to the accommodations applied for being
available. We reserve the right, without notice, to modify, cancel
or withdraw any arrangements and in this event the full amounts paid
will be returned to the customer, and upon rendering of the same, all
liability shall cease. We reserve the right to decline to accept or
retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. We reserve the
right to adjust any price without notice whatsoever at any time up
to and including the day of departure, even if full payment has been
made. Single occupancy of a room by choice or circumstance is subject
to the applicable supplement.
PRICING
Prices mentioned in the 1995/6 edition of the brochure have been based
on two persons per motorcycle. The single supplement applies to any
person(s) wishing to use the motorcycle and accommodation exclusively.
DEPOSITS, FINAL PAYMENT
A deposit for your tour is required along with a signed Booking Request,
Booking Conditions and General Information form within 7 days of such
a request, but not less than 21 days prior to the tour departure. The
balance of the full payment is due prior departure of the tour. If
for any reason we do not receive your deposit by the due date, we reserve
the right to treat your booking as cancelled.
AMENDMENT FEES
We suggest you plan your tour departure carefully and avoid changes to
your choice lodged. Any amendments will involve an amendment fee where
applicable. For each amendment a fee of $25 will be charged in addition
to any charges levied by the hotels. If vouchers have been issued,
the fee will be $40. An amendment constitutes a change to an existing
booking and not a transfer to another tour, wherein cancellation fees
may apply. See "Cancellation" clause below.
CANCELLATION
Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel, you must
advise your agent in writing. The person who made the original booking
should sign such written advice. The cancellation is not effective
until we receive the written advice. Cancellations are subject to a
fee payable to compensate for all coats and charges incurred in the
handling of the booking. Cancellations will also be subject to cancellation
fees levied by any hotel operator according to their respective Booking
Terms and Conditions. Please note that it is your responsibility to
request from your agent the details of the terms, conditions and Hire
Agreement, and to ensure that you have understood their contents. The
payment of your deposit constitutes an acceptance of those terms and
conditions and your acknowledgment that you will be bound by their
cancellation fee charges.
LICENCE REQUIREMENT
Riders must be at least 25 years of age and currently hold and have held
for at least 24 months an appropriate driver's license, which is valid
in the Northern Territory of Australia. The rider must not have at
any time previously been disqualified or suspended from driving a motor
vehicle or motorcycle as a consequence of either accumulation of demerit
points or an alcohol related driving offence.
FAMILIARIZATION
At the beginning of the tour, customers are required to participate in
a "hands-on" familiarization. The purpose of this familiarization
is: (a) to allow the tour escort to demonstrate the handling characteristics
of a Harley Davidson Heritage Classic or similar Harley Davidson motorcycle,
as well as (b) to demonstrate to the tour escort that the rider can
safely handle their touring machine, hence not posing a risk to the
touring machine, themselves and or any other member of the touring
party. If for any reason during this familiarization the tour escort
deems that the customer is a risk to the touring machine, themselves
and or other members of the touring party, we reserve the right not
to hire a touring machine, but to offer that customer to passenger
the entire tour in the escort vehicle for a negotiated suitable refund
less any expenses incurred. Please see the section, Refunds.
REFUNDS
Please note that no refund is given when cancelled within 14 days of
your confirmed tour departure. Refunds for passengers denied touring
during the "hands-on" familiarization will be settled through
the original booking agent, or if booked directly by the customer,
paid to the customer. Customers denied continuation whilst on tour
on the grounds of rider or group safety will not be eligible for any
refund.
INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that, at the time of booking, you purchase
a comprehensive travel insurance policy of your choice. We suggest
that the policy should include, but not be limited to the following
features: Loss of deposit through cancellation, Personal baggage and
loss of money, Medical expenses, Additional expenses to cover hotel
accommodation and repatriation costs should the tour need to be extended
or curtailed due to illness, or due to the need to return home due
to the unexpected death or illness of a close relative. This feature
should also cover cancellation of transport services due to industrial
action. Please consult your Insurance Agent on the insurance policy
most suitable for your needs.
LUGGAGE
Luggage, including personal articles, is at all times and in all circumstances
at the risk of the owners except to the extent of any insurance purchased
by the customer. It is also the passenger's responsibility to inquire
prior to departure about the restrictions placed on the amount, weight
or volume of luggage allowed and to comply with those requirements.
Failure to do so might incur additional charges or the refusal to carry
the excess luggage.
RESPONSIBILITY
As the tour operator offering the means of transport, hotel accommodation
and other services as included on tour, issue vouchers subject to the
terms and conditions under which transportation and other services
are provided. We do not accept any liability whatsoever for the acts,
omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise of hoteliers or
other persons providing services in connection with your tour or travel
pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we
have no direct and exclusive control. We do not accept any liability
in contract or in tort for any accident, injury, damage, loss, delay,

All of our rental bikes are late model motorcycles and are covered by
a comprehensive accident insurance policy. (The cost of insurance is

excess payable on all rental motorcycles. (Insurance excess is the amount
payable by the renter, if the motorcycle is involved in an accident,
providing all rental policy requirements have been adhered to.)
Rental motorcycles are not insured against THEFT, so the security of
the motorcycle is the responsibility of the renter.
All rental motorcycles are fitted with alarms or lockable security cables.
The rental rate sheet indicates the deposit required if the motorcycle
is used in NSW. The rental deposit on any motorcycle taken interstate
is A$1,000. The rental deposit for any international renter is A$1,000.
